International Pole Camp 4!

Two weekends ago was the Fourth Annual International Pole Camp. IPC for short. I have gone every year and wouldn't miss it.
More information here: www.internationalpolecamp.com and at www.polejunkies.com

The first year I attended I had been dancing for about 4 months. I was nervous and scared, but figured what did I have to lose. I gained so much knowledge that first year it makes me incredibly happy to think of how many people get the same experience I did.
Going into this weekend I was thinking I wouldn't learn a whole lot. My wrist has been really bugging me and I haven't touched a pole (other than teaching) since April(? I'm guessing that's how long it's been, might have been May). Having not been practicing at all, I wasn't sure how much I was going to learn. I learned a lot for a short period of time. I learned some limits, some strengths and made some new friends, and rekindled with old ones.

Here's a run down of the weekend:

Thursday, Day 1: I didn't particpate this day. I was working, and then needed a night with my husband before I abandoned him for the weekend.

Friday, Day 2: Worked day job and then headed to the hotel to take care of registrations for people coming to the banquet and out on the pole crawl. (Like a pub crawl, but better... we have poles). We had a wonderful dinner, introduced ourselves to the whole group and then went out on the town. Two buses with poles in them picked us all up, we headed to a bar where two stages were set up for us, and we spent the night playing and dancing. I left early enough that I could get some rest for the day coming.
Saturday, Day 3: Morning was spent checking people in to their various workshops and taking one myself. We had the lovely Jamilla Deville as our guest instructor this year. What an honour to take a class from her!!
I spent the afternoon helping people out with moves I already knew how to do and imparting knowledge. Have the fun is sharing what you know and watching someone's face light up when they get a new move.
During the evening, we went back the hotel and had another dinner, door prizes and awards.
I have now gotten 2 trophies that say "Best Booty Shaker" All because I don't mind making an idiot out of myself at the bar

Sunday, Day 4: I learned 5 new moves on the last day of camp. WOOhOO!! I had a great time hanging out with friends, learning and teaching. It was a great end to the wonderful weekend. Can't wait for next year!

Here are pics of 3 of the moves I learned

Fitness Friday: Belly Dancing and Certified

I've resolved myself to know I will never lift weights again. I'm still in denial that I will never pole again. To keep myself in a little bit of shape, I'm exploring different dance avenues. I can't deny that I am a dancer through and through. There is nothing I like better than to feel music through my body.

I still love teaching my Intro to Pole classes. Having a group of 6 or 7 girls giggle and laugh by the end of class after walking in with trepidation makes my heart sing.

Wednesday night in my Aerial Yoga Fitness class I had a student who had taken an Intro to Pole class with me. I was so excited to see her back at our studio. She dragged a friend with her and were both asking about signing up for Level 1 Pole. Hooray! Students returning! I truly hope that they sign up right away and get in to a class.

I have 6/10 students registered for my Lap Dance workshop I'm teaching next week. I wrote up my own routine to teach them. Very excited to impart some knowledge to these girls to take home and spice up their lives.

Wednesday during my Intro pole class I had my AFLCA assessment. A trainer came in, watched me teach the class. She had some great feedback for me that I will certainly take on to my next classes. I was so nervous to start but then got down to business as usual and felt completely natural with her there. I am now certified. Just need to submit all of my papers and get the certificate.

Pole Competition: Am I crazy?

Calgary is hosting the first ever Miss Pole Dance Alberta competition. I've been talked into entering by my instructor/friend. I can't tell you how nervous I am and I haven't even put together my video submission yet. That in itself is going to take more work than getting up in front of a crowd.

Why am I so nervous you ask? It's not the performance itself that is making me feel this way. It is the fact that I have not been in classes since May and haven't worked on much of anything since then. Other than teaching intro classes, I haven't touched a pole to work on advanced moves. Nor have a danced for a long period of time. Our routines are to be over 4 minutes long. The only routine I've ever done was less than that.

I think I'm crazy, but once you tell people you're submitting an application, you better do it right?

So here's the first challenge. I need to find a song, create a routine and record it on video by August 10. All the while hoping my wrist cooperates so I can actually accomplish this. So far, not so good. I iced my wrist all evening last night and have gone through more advil than a person should really take in the 2 days I've been at work this week.

I honestly don't think I'll get chosen to move on to the finals after the video voting, but it's worth a shot!

Special Fitness Friday: Aerial Yoga gets on TV!

I realize I'm not posting this on Friday, but I couldn't wait.

Last week I taught Aerial Yoga on a special night. We filmed the class for a TV series called Fuel that is local here in Calgary. I was so incredibly nervous. I'm the type of person that will do as many photos as you want. I love photographs and being in them. Video is a completely different story. You can retake it if you screw up. (not entirely true, but you get the point).

Aside from feeling nervous about being filmed, I haven't been teaching Aerial Yoga for very long. I teach a beginner drop-in class and it has been great fun learning along the way. To have a TV show come in and film made me question myself and my ability to instruct.

We had two students come plus the TV show host, Kevin. He has been doing a series of different kinds of exercise offered in our city. I was thoroughly impressed with him and he made me feel so at ease. He came in and made everything exciting and fun. He also did every move I threw at him.

Watch the video!

Kevin made a stop a few weeks before to one of our Advanced Pole classes. Tori is an awesome instructor. I have the pleasure of learning from her every week.

Fitness Friday: Half Jade

After a few weeks of being frustrated with my wrist and being unable to accomplish any moves at pole class, I finally have something to show for it.

I am not incredibly flexible and have yet to get my splits, so I currently can't do a full Jade justice. I CAN however do a half Jade. It took me a few weeks to get the pole in the right spot so I didn't feel like I was going to crack a rib. I found just the right spot and I managed to pull it off 3 times last night. I can't wait to get back up there and do it a few more times.

I need to pull my chest up more to my knee to get a straighter line.
Half Jade
Half Jade

My wrist has shown some improvement with my new physiotherapy plan-of-action so I'm hoping I will be able to do more pole work in the coming future. I need to take it slow and not overdo it. The last thing I need right now is to back peddle.

Fitness Friday: New and Exciting

The Knot

No not the wedding website, but my new move I've learned! It does still need some work, but I got it. I saw it on wikipole and decided that it probably didn't require a whole lot of wrist. That's a good thing for me since I have problems with mine.
I am also going to be teaching my very first workshop the first week of April. I will be teaching a Spin Combo workshop at Polejunkies Calgary. I'm so excited! Teaching classes with an outline of moves for a routine is great. It's structured and I love that. A workshop like this isn't structured. I get to use some creativity and decide what spins to do basd on the class and their ability. I really hope it runs! (no one signed up yet :( )

Last night I tried an aerial yoga class. I'm not a regular yoga person (I believe Ashtanga is the only kind I've ever done since that's what was offered) I dislike holding a pose for more than a minute and I don't find that relaxing. In fact, it does the opposite for me and stresses me out and causes anxiety. No joke. My other reason for disliking yoga is that face that doing downward dog actually hurts my wrists. I come out of a class after doing however many downward dogs (I swear this is the only my instructors like and they make you do it over and over) and have pain through my forearms and wrists for the next day.
Why then did I willingly go to an aerial yoga class? I love having my feel off the floor and being in the air and the silk hammock looks super comfortable! So I went last night. I am in love!
  • It didn't hurt my wrists (big points right there)
  • It was relaxing (great for the end of the week)
  • I got to invert
  • I got a workout!
The class I took was for instruction and to get a feel for how it works and how we run the class at our studio. I'm going to assist next week (hopefully, as long as people sign up). I will definitely be signing up to take the class if I don't end up teaching it. I may finally get some flexibility and much needed relaxation.

(forgot to take pics but here is a youtube video)
I did several of these last night in my class.

Fitness Friday: The things men do for us

With all the wedding planning and decorations that needed to be made and general business, I took down my pole stage. Now that almost all the wedding decorations are completed, I have retired my crafting supplies and can finally set my stage back up.
Before wedding planning chaos hit our house, the stage was set up and the dining room table was moved to be infront of my book shelf. (Gasp! I know...) I was unable to comfortably get to my books and even though I'm small, it was a tight sqeeze to ponder what to read next and put read books in their place.
Frenchie has been asking if I'm putting the pole back up. I made a deal with him. We have to move more furniture around so I can get to my books.
What resulted:
  • Loveseat moved from front room to living room (legs removed and put back on to fit it through doorway)
  • Armchair moved living room to front room (legs removed and put back on to fit it through doorway)
  • Table moved so there is space around it
  • Pole set up
  • AND the roomba went to town on the carpet where all the furniture was.
The things my man will do for me.

In other news related to fitness... I have awful flexibility. There's nothing like having a new student come to class to make you feel bad about yourself and your abilities. I am not an amazing dancer. Far from it. I don't put enough effort in to get better. I don't stretch enough to improve.
We had a new student come to class who is great and flexy and I feel awful and self-concious about myself. I am the least competitive person I know and when someone makes me feel self-concious, I tend to give up. I don't have that drive to "be the best".

Fitness Friday: Look ma! No Hands!!

I  remembered to take a picture of a move I got last night. I've been struggling with the Hummingbird for a while, entirely out of fear. Learning to let go of the pole with both hands is a big deal. You need to fully trust your legs (or whatever body part that's attached to the metal) to hold you. I know my legs are strong, and I know that holding with my knee is something I can do.

I've been able to do Cupid for a long time now and wanted to try a no-handed cupid, otherwise known as the Hummingbird. Definitely got my heart going.
(apologies for the blackberry quality, forgot my camera)

February Recap 2011

Books
I read 4 books in the month of February. Not great, but not bad. I started 4 more before the month was over. I'm hoping I can finish those 4 and move on during March. I feel behind in my goal to reach 50 books in 2011. I'm also lagging behind in my points during the Winter Book Challenge.
Finished
Hunger (library)  - 2 Stars
Room (Ebook) - 3 Stars
Together for Life (on shelf) - 3 Stars
Day After Night (audio CD) - 4 stars

Started

Savings
I spent $5.24 this month on Room. I saved $50.23 for the month of February. I used the library for the other two and read one off my shelf.
Year-to-date savings: $90.81

Book Journey
I travelled to the Western United States, Mid-West United States, Calgary and Israel this month. Can't wait to see Where I'm reading next!

Movies
Pretty slim pickings at the theatre again this month. We ended up seeing only one.
March looks a little better, but we will see how things go.

Fitness
I have officially quit the P90x.
Teaching still rocks as always.
Pole is getting a little better and I'm finally enjoying my classes again.
I wrote my final exam for the AFLCA and now await my results.

Fitness Friday: How do you feel about No Shows?

I love teaching. It's fun, it's fun and... it's fun! (and three hours of pole is a hell of a workout)
As I've mentioned before I have been teaching our Intro classes on one night of the week. It's a blast! The session for the past 4 weeks brought me some newbies who were thrilled to try something new. My first two classes this week were on their last class of their session. We did the routine a bunch of times to different music, added some sass and then learned a new move or two. My last class of the evening, didn't come :(

I'm always incredibly sad when students don't show up. The classes are max 6 people, so there is a high chance there will be less than that at any given time, but no one? I never know if it's me, or if it's the class itself or if they all just had something else to do. Either way, I try not to take it personally, but it's hard not to. It wasn't their last class either, which makes me even more confused. We still hadn't finished the entire routine yet, so there was more for them to learn.

As instructors of any fitness or education classes, how do you feel when your students don't show up?

Other things happening in the world of fitness for me. I wrote my last exam to get my AFLCA fitness certification. I was very worried about the exam, but I finished it in 25 minutes (they give you 60) and think I did very well. I won't get the results for 2 weeks because they mail them out to you but at least I have a good feeling.
Now it's time to compile everything together and get certified fully!

Fitness Friday: P90x Fail

I have to admit it. I failed. I'm done. No more P90x. I made it to week 7 before I fell off the wagon. I would like to say that I'm sad about not finishing, but that would be a lie. I'm a little disappointed, but in all honesty, I'm bored! And because of my wrist problems that are getting increasingly worse, I can't do half the exercises anyways. Pushs and anything to do with the forearms causes pain, so what's the point. Most of the weeks I have pole classes when the plyometrics day is.

In other fitness news, (forgive me if I'm whining) I am having to tape my wrist for pole classes as well as for work. I found this week that if I used athletic tape and gave my wrist some support, I was able to pole without having a lot of pain in the hours afterwards. This will work in the mean time until I can figure out what is going on with it. I definitely do not want to quit dancing, and I'm very careful to only do/learn moves that have very little wrist pressure in them.

I'm excited for spring to come soon (although you'd never know with the ice crystals we have in the air today). Running outside with Beta is really fun on the weekends and after work. I look forward to long walks with her and generally just getting outside for some exercise.

Fitness Friday: P90 Week 7 & Pole Pics

I did a bad job of the P90X this week. I only did 2 lifting workouts and did not do any of the cardio. I don't plan on the cardio anymore simply for weight reasons, but I should still do the lifting. I can't say that I didn't do any exercise though.
Wednesday I started teaching 2 new intro classes and finished off the last week of another. I also attended my own class and learned a new move! I didn't get any pictures of me doing the moves yet since I keep forgetting to bring my camera. Next week I will remember and hopefully get them posted by Friday.

I do however, have 2 pictures of my pole shoot I did a few weeks ago. I got a shoot done by As I See It Photography. Shelley is also our wedding photographer. She is a blast to work with and I can't wait for the wedding. The work she does is amazing and I am so happy that we booked her. I took my stage to her studio and set it up.

January Recap 2011

Books
I started off pretty good this year.
I read 5 books in January and started 2 more before the month was done.
Finished
Outlander - 5 Stars
My Horizontal Life - 2 Stars
The Body Finder - 4 Stars

Started

Savings
I spent $0 on the books I read. I previously owned or borrowed all of them.
I saved $40.58 this month. (I use the current Amazon price for all the books I read)

Book Journey
I have travelled to Scotland, Paris, North Carolina, New Jersey and Washington in my book journey.
I love keeping track of where all the books are set.
See my map updated with every book on my side bar.

Movies
The movies at the theatre weren't all that great to start the year.
I'm hoping things pick up since I love going to movies.

Fitness
After an odd start to the P90x, we are in week 7. So far I'm seeing a difference in weight and in measurements. I'm excited to keep going on with my own modified version. Skipping the cardio since I don't need to lose anymore weight. Just build strength.
Pole is getting good again. I learned two new moves last week and have trophies (bruises) to prove it. I'm glad I signed up again for classes.
Teaching is going great. I have 3 introductory classes a week to teach. It's a long and fun night.

Fitness Friday: P90x Week 6

Frenchie and I are almost done week 6. We're halfway there!!

We are into a new set of the lifting dvd's. I'm liking these so much more than the first 3rd of the P90X. They are more my style. Perhaps it's because I was sick for several weeks and couldn't push myself as hard as I would have liked, but the first 5 weeks didn't seem to do much for me. My 30 day photo says otherwise, and so do a few pairs of pants. (I'll post pics at the end of the whole 12 weeks.)We forgot to measure, so hopefully do that this weekend to see if there are any inch changes.

I'm noticing that my abs are getting more defined. (yah almost 6 pack!) My butt is a little firmer so less jiggling up the stairs, which is my biggest pet peeve about my body. I feel like I'm getting stronger. Lifting myself at pole class is getting much easier.

I finally convinced Frenchie that we needed to remedy listening to Tony talk through the entire dvd's. I brought a portable speaker down to the basement, made a playlist and we now only play the cues on the dvd. Heaven!

I feel like I should also give a pole update since it's been a while.

I'm still taking classes.I have more off days now than good days. It's all related to my wrist. I'm having issues again with it. Certainly makes it difficult to do some of the advanced moves when I can't support myself with my wrists.

I'm teaching 3 intro classes at the moment. We had a deal on a 4 week intro class and it generated a lot of interest. I've had a blast teaching the newbies. There are always a few that get it very easily, and then a few that don't. I find the first class is always tough. Everyone is so quiet and nervous and I try so hard to get them to laugh, or even crack a smile. After I get a giggle they warm up and start to have some fun. I <3 newbies!!

Fitness Friday: Taboo Recap

As I posted last Friday, I was off for the weekend to do some performances for PoleJunkies at the Taboo show.

Friday night I performed my solo routine. I chose “Spacelord” by Monster Magnet. Part of this has to do with the fact that I love the song, and partly because it’s easy to dance to. A little bit had to do with my doubles partner. Cruella Steele is a metal fan, so in order for her to help or watch my routine at all, it couldn’t be bubbly. So Cruella, here’s to you, a song you actually approve of.

Saturday I had two performances. At 5pm, Cruella and I performed our doubles routine to “Bad Things” by Jace Everett. We’re both huge True Blood fans, so we thought this fit the bill. We’ve read all the books, and enjoy the show. (Btw, we are both huge book nerds.) At 10pm I was supposed to perform my solo again, but because of the crowds that were watching, we felt it would be better to do our doubles routine again. Doubles routines aren’t something that a lot of pole studios do. They are unique, and between PoleJunkies and the other pole studio in town, we are the only ones that do them.

Here is a video of the first performance we did. I wanted to post the second performance later in the evening, but I haven't been able to find the video.

Working at the booth was an absolute blast. We have people of ever age, size and gender approach to ask about our studio. (Yes we do teach men’s classes. They are called Vertical Fitness and focus on the strength aspects of pole.) We had a stage set up at our booth and to grab attention of the crowds wandering, we do small bits of performances and try moves. We show examples of what people learn in their first level of classes. Then we show them what they can work towards.

It was a very successful weekend. I’m already thinking of more songs to put routines with.

Fitness Friday: Naughty or Nice?

This weekend is the Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show. Every year for 4 days at one of the convention centres in town, this show is held. It's mostly full of toys, clothes, vendors and a few things I care to never know about.

Frenchie and I go every year to walk around. I don't think we've ever actually bought anything, but it's fun to walk around, giggle at a few things, get weirded out by others and not even bother to ask what some things are. (there's a point where you really don't want to know)
Since I've started dancing at PoleJunkies, I've started going to Taboo and working at the PoleJunkies booth. The first year I went, handed out cards and explained to people what we offer for classes. We have a pole set up at the booth and do demos for people and allow them to try a few things. They are always amazed and go away with a different view of what we do. (Other times you get closed minded people at the most open-minded event in the city)

Last year, I was asked by the owner of PJ’s to perform the level 6 routine on the main stage. I hadn’t performed a dance routine on stage in so long I jumped at the chance. (I used to be in competitive dance for 13 years) I was incredibly nervous right before going on stage. I ended up forgetting parts of the routine and improvising, and the video camera we had to record my routine had a low battery and died 10 seconds in. So the first performance didn’t go so well.

This year, I’m performing again. This time I’m much more prepared. I am doing a solo, which I’ve choreographed myself, and a duet that Cruella Steel and I put together. I feel fairly confident with my solo. I know I can do all the moves that are in it, it’s just remembering the transitional parts. At least I know I can improvise those parts and no will know ;)

I will be doing my solo once Friday night, and twice Saturday night. Our duet will be twice on Saturday night.
I am hoping I can get video of them this time around and I’ll post it up next week.

Fitness Friday: They Survived!!!

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!
I was let loose. Off the leash. On my own.
You get the picture.

Wednesday nights I assist-teach pole classes. My basic job is to see what the instructor doesn't. This week I was given my own class to teach for 4 weeks. There are 7 students for me. to mold and shape into polejunkies. I was so incredibly nervous. Not the 'butterflies in the stomach' type of nervous, but the 'knots in the stomach' type nervous. I was very afraid I was going to screw up and either make an idiot of myself, or worse, end up with someone hurting themselves.

I stood at the front of the class and was confident, comfortable and managed to run my very first class (on my own) successfully. All the students left saying they had fun, they had a good workout and that they couldn't wait until next week. I had one tell me she'd be cursing my name the next day since she had such a good arm workout.

The second class I taught has been running for 2 weeks already so they sort of know the drill and they know who I am. We ran through the routine, practiced a few of the moves and then moved on. They got the new stuff fairly quickly. We ran through the entire routine with the new additions and I was so proud of them! We even got further along that was originally planned! There was even one student at the end of class who wanted to sign up for our Pole Fluff class. (This basically adds the flair to dance. The head flips, the stroking your leg... the sexier side that we don't usually teach in class)

After all the fuss before I left the house about how nervous I was and how I was so scared of screwing up, things turned out really well. I got home and told Frenchie it was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Fitness Friday: Bittersweet

I got my new schedule for assisting dance classes. It's bittersweet.

Currently I assist a level 1, Advanced, and level 5 class on Thursday nights. I love the advanced class because it's a learning experience for everyone, including the instructors. I will be very sad (bitter) to leave these students since I know them fairly well and have become friends with several of them.

Next session, I will be instructing two level 1 classes on Wednesday nights. I do like level 1 classes because they students are all new and you get to see them develop and learn every week until they finally reach the end and either continue on with level 2, or move on to something else (this makes me sad) I was informed by the office manager that I will be assisting for the next two session in the classes I will take over and instruct come January.
Although I am sad to be leaving the advanced students, I am excited (sweet) that I am being seen as capable to teach newbies. Over the next two sessions I will learn all the cues to teach the class and get more experience.

The other bittersweet part about this whole thing is that my own pole class was cancelled Tuesdays. I was sad about that since the only other advanced class was on Thursdays and I was assisting in the class. I was unable to take the class as a student, which was leaving me without. With moving to assist on Wednesdays, I will be able to go and take the advanced class on Thursdays!

I won't be signing up for classes this next session though. I need to take a break and figure out if it's worth going back. If I don't take classes I need to get my butt in gear and do things on my own or start a few pole jams with people on the weekends. I find I learn better, now that I've hit a plateau, just getting together with friends and playing around. You challenge each other and it really spurs on some creativity.

Fitness Friday: IPC 2010 in Review

International Pole Camp was last weekend. Lets just say I still have some bruises that are healing from the new and exciting moves I learned.

Here's a recap:
Friday: Dinner and Pub Crawl
We all gathered at a hotel for the first banquet of the weekend. Everyone introduced themselves and got to know people. The farthest traveller this year was from the UK. Long way to come for 4 days!
This year we also had 3 men attend. One has been to IPC 3 times in a row. Goes to show it's not just a women only sport.
After dinner we headed to a local bar in which two stages had been set up. We played around on the poles for a while and had a few drinks. I left early so I could get some sleep in anticipation for the fun to come the next two days.

Saturday: Workshops and Pole Jam
I woke up early and made my way to the studio to attend two workshops. One by Karol Helms, and the other by Josiah "Badazz" Grant. (Do you want The Drs.? He was on their show. Click for video.)
After the workshops, we were all shipped by the cool buses with poles in them to a recreation centre for lunch and a pole jam. Super fun time hanging out with people from around the world and learning new things. I love the look on some of the newbies faces when they learn something they thought was impossible for them.

Saturday night: Banquet and awards
PFA Flash CardsAfter all the fun, we headed back to the hotel for another banquet and an awards ceremony. Everyone was exhausted and the dinner was fairly quiet. I think everyone was ready to sleep as soon as it was done.
I won a cool door prize from Pole Fitness Association. I got a pack of flash cards. These will come in handy when trying to think of new things to learn and teach.
I also won an award. "Best Effort 2010". I love the tiny trophy!
Best Effort 2010
Size Comparison

Knees
Knees
Sunday: Workshop and more Pole Jam
I got to sleep in a little Sunday and rest up a bit. I had a workshop that morning with Alethea Austin. I learned some really cool transitions and I finally got the move called Knees. (I still have bruises from it)

After the workshop, we were bused to the rec centre again for a repeat of the day before. Lunch, pole jam and we finished with an auction.
New StageI put a bid in for a Platinum Stages Star Standalone stage. I won! Now I have a portable stage so I can pole anywhere. I'm sad it's starting to turn cold, otherwise I would totally be putting it up on my deck outside. My neighbours on one side already know I take and teach pole, so they wouldn't think it's weird. The other ones can't really see our deck, so we're good there. This also means that in the summer, I can pole in the park again!

I didn't take my camera with me so I'm waiting for pictures to be posted by all the rest of the people that were in attendance. If I get anymore, I'll be sure to post them.

Fitness Friday: International Pole Camp 3

IPC3 starts today!
For those of you who don't know what it is, you probably aren't a pole dancer. Let me tell you what a fabulous weekend I'm about to have.
For 3 - 4 days, over 50 pole dancers from around the world gather in Calgary for a fun filled weekend. We come together because of Polejunkies and this amazing event put on by the studio.
There are workshops, seminars, banquets, awards and of course, a pole crawl! We have special instructors from around the world coming in to do private and group workshops. This year we are happy to have Karol Helms, Alethea Austin and Josiah "Badazz" Grant.
I can't wait to see all my pole friends from the two previous IPCs and learn some new moves!
I assure you, Sunday night I will be bruised, battered, exhausted and have a huge smile on my face. I wait for an entire year for this event.
This event is for advanced, intermediate and beginner pole dancers. We have instructors and people who have only touched a pole at the bar. It's for everyone!

Check out www.internationalpolecamp.com for more information. There are galleries of the past events.
