Wedding Wednesday: February 2 Checkin

Things are really starting to move faster now that we're 4.5 months out. I have a feeling that every week there will be something crossed off the list. It's funny how we've been engaged since August 2009 and there was all the time in the world. Now we're getting closer and I feel like there is still so much to do!

What was accomplished:

• Suits were decided on.
• Frenchie got measured and put deposits down for the suits.
• Backdrop rental to go behind the head table was ordered.
• Favour bags were bought.
• Green tulle for decorations purchased.
• Ceremony readings (almost) decided on. We have two sections that we need to sit down and talk about since we both like two.
• Shower/Stagette planners have been contacted and I hear things are going well. I want them to be a surprise for the most part.
• Bow maker secured for decorations. A friend of mine is letting me borrow hers.
• Extra information to go into invitations sent to Little Daisy Designs
• Maps created for guests
• Room decided on for my parents, maid of honour and I for the night before the wedding.

 

What needs to be done:

• Cancel hall rental for the night before the wedding. We don't need it anymore.
• Meet with musician(s) to decide on ceremony music
• Start making pew bows
• Start making chair sashes
• Try rental chair cover on chair at hall to make sure they fit and look good.
• Relay suit information to groomsmen so they can go and get measured. It's a national store so they don't have to come here to get fitted.
