I finally got through this book. It was very entertaining, as Stone always is.
Swimming to Catalina is the fourth installment of the Stone Barrington series. He is a cop forced into retirement in his early-fourties turned lawyer/PI. In this book, he goes to Hollywood to find his missing ex-girlfiriend who's new husband has called Stone for help. Messed up situation, I know.
He winds up in LA, acting of all things, and getting involved with some down and dirty people.
Just another day in Stone's life.
For the WBC, I read this book for 15 points. Task: read a book who's author lives in a state you'd like to live.
